Comments (What you tried, description, etc):

I'm trying to install and make alleg run on a laptop ...

When launching Allegiance.exe in standalone, I obtain the following error message:
"This application couldn't start because the configuration of the application is wrong. Reinstalling the application may help."

==> Note that I had to translate this error message from french

I patch the game "update/repair" ==> nothing to update anymore
Tryed to delete the allegiance.exe and reload it (through update/repair) ==> do not change anything

Net 1.1 is installed
C++ runtime has been installed by the game installer

Anyone got an idea?

Being that you can't run Alleg directly, I suspect that you have a bad install. Uninstall, reboot, redownload and re-install is my recommendation.

Well, it tries to correct them, but if a file or ninety get corrupted, there's only so much an application can do - you need the OS to do it sometimes.

Glad you got it working, and thanks for letting us know.
