Pings and such

I am wondering what Pos: means in the alt-f at the top of the screen? mine is saying (dead) never noticed that before.

Also I am loosing packs and my ping is bad not something that is very usual for me.

If the game has not started Pos: will show as dead, like when you are in the lobby.

What do you mean by loosing packs? packets I take it?

All packet loss and high ping issues are really beyond this helpline unless you think it is specific to the game.

Open a command window (Start->Run Open: cmd) and see what ping reports

Note I am just using fazdev as an example. You can also type 'tracert fazdev.alleg.net' to see where the slow down is.

My guess is you are experiencing a transient slow down due to problems (or just lots of traffic) between you and the servers.
