Problem Encountered at Step #: Installing Updates & logging into lobby
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): ASGS 2.1 & B4 Beta
What Error Message: ASGS Authentication Error, Please Re-Connect using ASGS or something like that
Comments (What you tried, description, etc):

Re-installed ASGS, Newest B4 build. Installed Visual C++, Ran Microsoft update

ASGS runs Update, both in and out of Beta mode, and logs-out

B4 Beta tries to log into lobby and then gives the above error.

I read somewhere that BV had a similar problem with a previous release of B4, he deleted a certain file, I can't seem to find the thread again.

I think someone also had a comment about a registry key not pointing to the Beta Server.

Oops sorry guys Release 4 is it?

My Allegiance.exe keeps on UPDATING!! I've spent 127Mb of my bandwith already.

There goes another 4.5Mbytes.

When I do click on Launch it says Closing running processes, Updates are available, downloads them, installs them and then I'm returned to square 1.

Did your ASGS update to the latest first?

It should be build 160.

You shouldn't be in Beta mode either.

So, how do I get ASGS to update to the latest build? It downloads the updates, installs them, but afterwards I'm still stuck with build 151.

~2

Oops, again. I'm stuck with build 155 not 151. I downloaded everything and re-installed, didn't delete anything.

Edit - P.S. Where is the Dev directory supposed to be I don't see it in the Allegiance directory?

P.S.S Oh it's in the Artwork directory
