As i see it .. it seems that belts, ic, bios (whom i didnt see posting) and giga will have to unite for the upcoming war with the hidden alien race.

I've heard new rumours about another race that found its way towards our little piece of space.. so pretty soon we'll be fighting 2 races of aliens.. and im not talking about the the rix as one of the two...

Hmm... a war? So that is why I have been getting so many commissions as a mercenary? Does sort of make sense. Thanks for telling me, it does make it a whole lot more clear.

But anyway Captain, I do understand you carefulness of the opposing forces. You would be a fool not to be careful and watch your back especially with people like BIOS out there... but as has been stated by others, if this is not a ruse.. then we as the human race better be ready. I have fought with IC, heck I have been trained by them... but if this threat is there, IC will need all the help it can get to protect itself.. and especially if, as you state, they want to protect the human race as a whole.

I don't know where you're getting your rumours, but anything that isn't officially sanctioned by the Office of the DataNet can be deemed FALSE!!!

That is until someone finally finishes Omnicron. Sheesh.

We have not been affected by this unknown menace as of yet. And therefore see no reason to stretch our forces further, though we are monitoring the situation extremely carefully. We cannot afford to make such a precarious commitment at this time.

I am, or was, Lieutenant Ormov, a pilot with the Iron Coalition. I was captured by the BIOS during the recent battle at Mercury and while with the BIOS I have learned things others must know.

The BIOS have a new conversion process of transforming basic humanity into their latest generation warriors. I and many other captured pilots have been unwilling participants in the new method. Unlike previous processes which killed most subjects, the new process has a 73% success rate. Something to do with modifying the body first and gradually phasing in the mind modifications, I gather that the old method started with the mind and often produced fatal trauma.

I can feel my mind changing. My captors left me with a picture of my wife and child and as I stare at it, I no longer regard them with merely love. I desire to see them made better...

But I digress. My mind is not entirely gone and the BIOS have made the mistake of being unguarded with their plans in the presence of one who is not yet their own.

The BIOS have discovered something, an alien race that has forced them to rethink their entire operational tempo. BIOS deep space scouts encountered hostile elements of the new race and managed to return with samples.

If nothing else, the BIOS are practical and true to their vision of an "improved" humanity. They have sifted through the Rixian genome and infused later generation soldiers with greater spacial awareness. Using the information gleaned from the new comers, the BIOS have engineered limited regenerative therapies into their latest generations.

The BIOS need resources and pilots badly. No longer do they dream of small surgical strikes, they now dream of full scale assaults and total war. The recent battle at Mercury is but the first of many to come. Other targets are lined up. Secure the resources in-system, forcibly protect the Belters if you must, and reinforce your remote colonies or the BIOS will process every man woman and child you leave undefended. Be aware that the BIOS have established several heavy manufacturing facilities around Mercury. They must not be allowed to become fully operational.

External threats do exist. The new alien race does not mean humanity well and all would do well to prepare against their coming. But do look to the threats closer to home as well. Remember what Gen 7 with a handful of ships and pilots did and realize the danger posed by the BIOS moving to full on war footing. Cease your petty squabbling and unite, or the BIOS will unite you themselves.

This newly discovered race has something humanity has never seen before, a hive mind, a group collective conscious; and the BIOS want it for themselves. The BIOS speculate that they can engineer a human hive mind that will link all of humanity, both BIOS and free human, to one collective will, and that will shall be their own. If this comes to pass the BIOS shall truly win.

Ormov, (you have been officially removed from the Lieutenants' roster) we are sorry to have lost you to the BIOS along with many other missing soldiers we lost at that engagement. I have looked at your record in Coalition files, you were a fine warrior and fought well against the BIOS.

I appreciate your devotion to natural humans, and the risks that you are taking by messaging us this information. We will inform your family of your death. It will only pain them unnecessarily to inform them that you no longer have control of your own body.

We have learnt from our recent engagement with the BIOS what a threat they really are to the rest of humanity, a fact we feel that the other powers in this system do not fully understand.

Because you are, or once were a Coalition warrior, you will appreciated what I am about to say next.

Commit suicide while you still can, and save your honour.
