Upcoming Zone Game

I have seen many people talking about it. It sounds interesting. But, I've got a couple of questions.

Upon answering 'Yes' on the poll send out a few days ago, does this automatically 'sign you up and add you to the list'? While were at it, what makes Zone games so different from normal games (besides all the players...)?

It's like Story Mode For Allegiance. The outcome of this first game, will determine (in some way it's to be hoped) what the 2nd game will be about. (well AFAIK). It developed backstory, back in the 'day'.

That said, I'm insanely disappointed that I'm going to be out of town this weekend. So you guys go blow 'em up real good! I'll be over in Jax, sweating, while humping around a backpack and a MG-34, doing a fund raiser for Jax RMDH.

i'm not sure about this first one, but the old Zone Games had pre-determined factions and often special custom maps. By clicking yes, you are probably signing up for whatever team randomization method they are going to use to help mitigate stacking for that game.

Yes, clicking yes is all you have to do to play in the ZG. Well, that and not breaking the special rules for it (no chatter in the game lobby as the game is being formed up, f.ex.).
