i mentioned this before in core related threads, but never posted a proper bug report.

and i havnt tested this on the latest client, but as i tested it with R1, and i dont believe you changed any of the code related to probes and guns, i guess it is still broken.

basically, make a probe that shoots at enemys, and make it use a projectile (any will do, i used dis 3) whos settings you altered so that it travels slowley (like 20 or 40 m/s) and has a long lifespan (so it can clear the probe)
here is a recording of what happend in my test:
http://rapidshare.de/files/28199872/Allegi...-22-34.avi.html

the projectiles just got stuck where they were made - collide with model and instantly die.
then when the model gets destroyed, any ones lucky enough to be made and not have the system realise they have collided, manage to escape.

note, same projectile when set to travel at a usual speed of say 700 m/s escaped with no problem. (i think one time one probe of many worked with slow projectiles after alt-tabbing, but it didnt repeat its performance)

general request:
allow a projectile fired from a probe to pass through (i.e. not trigger collision event) the model of the object that fired it.

the above is true for ship based emittes, as if you have a slow projectile, you can fly through that and it does not hit you

I prefer Megaupload, it doesn't have the annoying 1 file an hour thing.
Nans are happy people. They fly around, give out repairs, and overall have a lot of fun. Why are we killing them when we can learn from their example?

On second thought, I loathe my old banner. I want a good one, does that mean I have to work for myself?

yes, they are mine probes (well, i call them plasma field generators)

the mine field guns (plasmafield guns) worked fine, just these didin't though.

i am uploading on megaupload for TE who appears to be allegric to rapidshare.

hmm, the megaupload seems to be more trouble than the rapidshare :/

...but their security is a little rubbish
