Wow...
I don't think that the vets were the only ones to blame.

Noobstack ruins game just like the stack does.
Next time if you see that a team is mostly novices try to join the other team(If you aren't accepted and it wasn't because of imbal contact someone)
If you can't get in wait for a vet to be forced onto the novice team due to imbal(may not be valid during off times)
Try not to let the noobstack form.
People will do what they came to do... have fun.
For most people its more fun to waste time playing with the stack(and getting a new game going) than to play against it(which can still be fun) without friends and time-proven backup.

EDIT: Dang... wasted my 1K post on advice :(

Need rants forum!

Also this thread had truth, probably none of the truly pro vets in Allegiance are openly hostile to noobs (if my memory serves correctly) but many voobs are, don't worry the people who abuse you usually get owned pretty swiftly in game.

Hell even Shiz gave me tons of advice in my noobdom. Other than that if you get good quickly you can just own the abusive people. The only abuse most players get are from the admins anyway. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

(Heh heh heh don't ban me)

And crono is right. Even people who are voobs can help. I'm actually technically a true voob now. I have a tag, but i'm steadily going from a 15, to a 10, to a 5 now, due to a string of poor games and inactiveness. Its like a dwindling potion. By next month i'm a 1.

Hell yeah. Besides, Shiz is a friendly person, provided your a cadet, or sober.

Why can't we have a rants forum (whines) /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />

Besides, there are those who stick through the bastardization ritual and become benevolent voobs, vets or admins, etc. Others come out as bastardly as the ritual they are subjected to. Most just quit before that stage.

Long live Allegiance.

Most of u are right. But the problem isn't in the "newb" server. If someone is a harse person there we come together and deal with the problem. (mutiny, etc) The problem is when the "newb" server is empty do to newcomers getting badmouthed in "pro" server and quiting the game for good. Instead of immediately booting them suggest they go to the "newb" server and get in practice so I will have someone to kill(i mean train). lol

I have also noticed no matter what the problem vets take other vets side 95% of the time whether there wrong or not.(maybe afraid lol)

It's more than killing your neighbor. It's desecrating the corpse.

Stack is a problem.

You could ask in the main server, if there is anyone on NOAT that will come with you to another non-newbie server (as they would get autobanned otherwise) and explain some things you may be unsure of, or help you with an aspect fo your play such as dogfighting or scouting. Personally, I reccomend cadet because it teaches you these things and more.
