I played for a while today and monitored my temp, the gpu was staying at 65C which is not hot at all (it would go to 70 when I play CoD4). Also I discovered alt-tabbing out of the game and back in fixes the problem , so it's not that big of a deal afterall.

Ok, I'll do that.
None of my hardware is overclocked and my graphics driver is 6.14.11.6921.
Edit: Here is a screenshot of what it looks like (I was using the alpha version, it still happened after ~30mins of gameplay).

I just got Allegiance and did the training missions (no problems), then went on the newbie server and about 10-15 minutes into the gameplay all the ingame textures turn yellow while I am in the sector view (I was on the yellow team, I don't know if this has anything to do with it).
