OK I think I see what the problem is now that you posted those textures Ada. Those help alot.
Out of the two, I prefer the green/red, although I would think that a Green/Blue or even better Red/Blue would be better choices as they tend more toward opposing/contrast colors.
Anyways, the problem isn ...

One more quick point: Of all the old flight WWII sims I used to play, one of my favorites was LucasFilm's Battle of Britain. What was so great about it was that the game was very simple, just guns and bombs. You could have squads of planes, give them waypoints, and AI would take over the rest. You ...

That I dunno about. IMO, it's enough with having gatts, dis, and galv's doing similar things but in a much broader sense. Might get a little too technical if you want to open up that can of worms. I'm good with just overall general damage just to make life more interesting like I said. It can be ...

Here's something that might change the dynamic completely and make the game even more interesting:
You might want to allow certain aspects of a ship to be damaged/destroyed before the entire ship blowing up once the hull armor is out. For instance any of all of these might become damaged and work ...

Yeah I dunno. Typically they're texturemapped and so the color is in the map for the bases (you would have the change all of them). So Shiz, I think they're actually kinda close about this fix. Like I said, it seems like it would be a simple task but there are always other considerations to provide ...

QUOTE (DreamWalker @ Apr 16 2007, 02:31 PM) Ada meant it would point you in the general direction of the green door /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
BTW. telling the green from the red door on certain shipyards is quite problematic even for people ...

QUOTE (Adaven @ Apr 16 2007, 02:24 PM) We've had a couple complaints against this, what colors can you see? Can you tell yellow or orange from green?
I'm ok with orange vs. green. Brown vs. Red and dark greens vs. dark reds I have problems with. For me, red vs. green isn't so bad, but the problem ...
