I'm following the development of SC closely, and hoping a handful of Alleg veterans will have some presence over there! Alleg is mentioned a few times on their forums, and I bump it and send people this direction whenever appropriate.

Hi community;

It may or may not be appropriate to start a new thread in general for just an "I'm back" note, but my squad changed in the time I was gone (the SRM forum is missing) and all of my friends from the community seem to be all over the place now!

Anyways, I've spent the last few years ...

Andon gave me the latest BSG core files, posted here:

http://www.matchfiregames.net/allegiance/bsg_artwork.zip

And after deleting filelist.txt (reseting auto-updater) everything auto-updates fine. ALL GOOD!

Well, I was having issue when I tried to install allegiance, I downloaded asgs from this mirror/location:

http://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.ph...0xc000007b'

Because I was receiving that error.... After the auto-update, my allegiance.exe got deleted (see other topic files about that issue ...

Hi everyone;

Running Allegiance perfectly from a fresh install. My problem is that on the auto-update (in-game) it is trying to download the latest BSG core but says that the "Update Server is Busy". I checked in UpdateError.txt like it said and it said

"Data for file D:\Program Files\Microsoft ...

OK I think I got this one fixed. I downloaded the hard-linked ASGS file (off of the wiki, where you are supposed to go if you have the 0x00007b error) and now I am running and launching Alleg no problems - funny because I didn't think that ASGS would make a difference?

It told me that my Allegiance ...

Happy holidays crew, I think this is a pre-existing issue, or at least one some of the experts can help me solve.

I chose to put my system specs below this opening. I'm upgrading hardware and have done a fresh format/install of everything I have, so on my brand new system with nothing installed ...

This was game 1 of 5 PUs today I played (all IC except the last which was belts, two on star, three on HiHigher) - and each time IC lost. Is there a lesson? A moral?

No big deal, up days and down days - I think the feeling is much worse when in the command seat. All that can be said has already ...

QUOTE (Death3D @ Feb 25 2008, 02:35 PM) If the (He Yield/total cost to Heavy ints for Dreg) / (He Yield/total cost to Heavy ints for Rix) hovers around 1, then the change has been pondered. And all blatant advantages IC has are part of their perks. They get free ships.

This would be a better ...

I played the SRMvSYSX game and we went IC expansion. I believe it was a huge advantage over the dregk economy. External influences aside, IC Mini2 heavy ints come out to $50001, if you find mini2 (very likely) $40001. Compare this to Dreghk - which has to pay an additional $22.5k for the ships ...
