Having uninstalled Avast and restarted, I'm just going to shrug and say "what do you know!". Afaik I didn't have the firewall, but who knows within all it's "modules" (although I do certainly prefer Avast to most other AVs). Do you happen to have any advice on an alleg-friendly AV?

3rd Vista box I've tried Alleg on and 3rd time it's not connecting to lobby. Maybe someone has an idea on what to do:

Windows Version (and Service Packs): Vista Home Premium
Processor Speed: 2.0GHz
RAM: 2GB
Video Card (Make and Model#): NVidia Geforce 9300M GS
Sound Card (Make and Model#): Inbuilt ...

They can be quite useful early on when you lack the $$ to build teles everywhere, and you can move them around easily. But I've noticed the only reason I end up ripping to them is to defend them when they're hunted down. Later on (if they live) they do make good platforms to attack from - but ...

It was so embarrassing seeing our SBs go in one by one and your ints chewing them up, when there were 4 more in the sector... not doing anything...

Ended up as about 45 mins of us sitting around in your sectors firing the odd hunter waiting for someone to get their act together. I knew we'd failed ...

Well I probably got that message months ago and therefore forgot ;-)

Thing was ASGS gave me a ban message saying why... but only after I could log on again, of course! Maybe edit the code so it can show the ban message but not you get into Alleg?

Mostly when the poor guys ended up with pure Capship fights and 15 sets of towers either side of an aleph...

Hence why I was moving to the main server when this happened! (where, after having waited that hour and got back on, got called a noob at least once, lmao)

Well go figure, that would explain it. Guess trying to re-learn my skills after not playing for a few months on there was a bad idea =]

Was just playing on the CC server online (well, we were waiting to start a new one) when Alleg just craps out and CTDs. Then, ASGS claims my account is deactivated for 60 minutes. Unless trying to join a team gets you banned now, or Alleg decided to hate me and ban me itself... Anyone care to work ...
