I have the same problem, in XP with a GeForce 8800GT. According to what I've heard, this is exclusive to newer nVidia cards. With this happening and a restriction on graphics modes on old DOS games (I'm a big-time retro gamer), the next card I get is going to be ATi. nVidia's just pissing me off too ...

QUOTE (Dragenesis @ Sep 9 2009, 12:03 PM) I ran across an open-source TS/Vent alternative called mumble. Maybe we can use that as the basis for the integrated voice chat. From my testing, it's very resource efficient and sound quality is good.

Well, there's a couple of ways we could do this.

QUOTE (Orion @ Sep 3 2009, 03:32 PM) Although it's possible to shoot down missiles, it's buggy at best.. I suspect the bullet intersection detection code isn't very robust. I think this is something worth looking into; at the same time if we do improve the code we might have to beef up missile ...

EDIT: Crap, this was 11. I didn't need it.

QUOTE (Pedowich @ Sep 2 2009, 06:37 AM) Saying we need to fix this implies it is broken, which it is not.

Okay, sorry for my improper phrasing. Kindly replace 'fix' with 'change'.

QUOTE (Pedowich @ Sep 1 2009, 09:50 PM) Stuff like this has been brought up before. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH PODS AS THEY ARE NOW. They are an integral part of the game, and of tactical decisions throughout the game, and shouldn't be $#@!ed with.

Has this been brought up before in the context ...
