A thought about page name lengths - If you're going to use an index style similar to Cadet I, perhaps only call the main page(s) "Allegiance Flight School", and have all the lessons as AFS - Scout; AFS - Flying; etc.

A fair point. I thought long and hard about the nomenclatutre for the front page, and decided not to use an abbreviation for it as it's aimed at new players, and could be a little confusing if I used abbrev on first page(s).
If I start copying lessons and other stuff across, I will do as you suggest
